From latte to espresso to iced, there are many different ways to consume coffee. But do you know coffee also does amazing things to your skin? 

It’s like a little miracle worker, who with its antioxidants properties, makes your skin supple. Not just this, coffee also has anti-ageing benefits and helps in reducing sun spots, redness and fine lines. It also tightens the skin making it look younger. The anti-bacterial properties of coffee also help in curing acne and with its anti-inflammatory benefits, you can bid adieu to under eye puffiness.

Under Eye Mask 

The kind of hectic life we millennials lead, it leaves us looking like a panda and not in a good way. With the help of this under eye mask, you can now say ‘goodbye dark circles’. All you’ll need to do is brew one teaspoon of coffee and let it cool. Following this, take a cotton pad and cut it from the centre to form two semi-circles. Dip the pads in the coffee and put them under your eye for 15 minutes. 

Coffee Lip Scrub

If you are aiming for supply and rosy lips, then this scrub should be your go-to. To make the scrub, mix one teaspoon each of coffee, sugar and olive oil a bowl. Apply it twice a week for 10-15 minutes. While applying the scrub, massage your lips gently to exfoliate them. 

Body Scrub

Exfoliating the skin is very important. When combined with right massaging technique, it helps stimulate blood flow and tightens the skin, which helps in reducing the appearance of cellulites. To make the coffee body scrub, mix half a cup each of ground coffee, brown sugar and coconut oil. You can also add a bit of vanilla extract in the mix. Before going for a shower, use the scrub all over your body and then wash it off with water. 

Coffee Cubes 

If you need a quick hack to fix under eye puffiness, then you should have coffee ice cubes in your refrigerator all the time. It helps increase the blood circulation. To make the cubes, brew a hot cup of joe and pour it in an ice tray. Once frozen, take out a cube and trace your eye area as well as bone structure with it. 

Face Mask

To make a coffee face mask, all you need to do is mix two tablespoon of yogurt with one teaspoon of ground coffee to form a paste. Apply it on clean face for 15 minutes and wash off. You will start noticing the difference in 2-3 applications. 

Coffee Hair Mask

If you want to add a hint of brown colour to you hair without having to visit the salon, then you should make a note of this coffee hair mask. While going for a head wash, mix two teaspoon of ground coffee with a handful of conditioner, let it sit for a few minutes and then wash it off with water. 

Foot Scrub 

This scrub works best to soothe weary feet. To make it, mix one cup of coconut oil, half a cup of ground coffee and two teaspoon of vanilla extract. Before applying the scrub, soak your feet in warm soapy water for 10 minutes and then massage them with the scrub in circular motion.
