Trying Malaika Arora’s recipe for immunity-boosting drink

While we practise social distancing to save ourselves from the deadly disease, it is equally important that we boost our immunity. Today, we are taking a page from Malaika Arora’s age-old nuskhe.

The time is tough but this too shall pass, we are hopeful. Apart from following the social distancing norms enforced by the government, it is also very important that we make ourselves strong from the inside. One easy way to do this is by increasing our intake of vitamin C.

Recently, Bollywood diva Malaika Arora took to social media to share the recipe for her go-to immunity-boosting drink, which is full of vitamin C.

In today’s edition of promoting and supporting a healthy lifestyle, we tried out Malaika’s healthy drink. It will, for sure, take you a second to try this drink at first, but then it will become a part of your daily routine.

Check out the ingredients for Malaika’s homemade immunity booster

Gooseberry (aamla)1 pcs
Organic turmeric (geeli haldi)1/2 inch stick
Ginger root (adrak)1/2 inch stick
Apple cider vinegar1 tsp
Black pepperAs per requirement
WaterHalf a glass

Follow this method to make the drink

Take a piece of fresh aamla and chop it into small pieces. Put it in a mixer-grinder with geeli haldi and adrak. To this, add a spoonful of Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) and a pinch of black pepper.

Once all your ingredients are in the mixer, add half glass of water and blend all the ingredients together. Just like that, your drink is ready.

Pass it through a sieve and pour the liquid into a glass. Start with consuming a very little quantity and once you get the hang of it, you can consume the whole glass.
