Just like the skin, taking care of our lips is also very important. Here, we have three-ingredient lip scrubs, which are super easy to make and need to be a part of your beauty routine.
When it comes to taking care of ourselves, we often forget about our lips, which are so sensitive and easily get affected by the changes around us. If the weather changes, even before the skin, you can see the effect on your lips. And, same is the case when you don’t keep yourself hydrated. Yet somehow, when we put multiple products on our face, from moisturisers to masks, we forget about our lips. And, with the kind of lifestyle we millennials have, just a stroke or two of lip balm is not enough.
Talking about beauty, we always have two options. We can either opt for store-bought products or can take the DIY route. While we can’t be sure about what all is there in the products we purchase, homemade products are au naturel, which is why they are better in every way.
Coming back to taking care of our lips, exfoliating them is very important to get rid of the dead skin. And one very effective way to do so is by using a scrub. Wondering how you can make a lip scrub at home? Here, we tell you three ways to make easy three-ingredient lip scrubs.
Three-Ingredient Lip Scrub – Coffee
Not only for the skin, but coffee’s antioxidants properties are also amazing for your lips. To make this scrub, mix one tablespoon each of ground coffee and sugar with one teaspoon of olive oil.
Lemon Lip Scrub
Rich in vitamin C, lemon will make your lips rosy. For this scrub, all you’ll need is to mix one tablespoon of sugar with half teaspoon each of lemon juice and olive oil.
CINNAMON Lip Scrub
If you wish to get fuller lips, then you should bookmark this lip scrub. To make it, mix one tablespoon each of sugar and honey with one teaspoon of cinnamon powder.
Coming to the application, you can apply these lip scrubs twice a week. While applying, take the scrub on the tip of your finger and gently massage your lips. Leave the scrub for 10-15 minutes, then wash it off with lukewarm water. However, before putting the scrub on your lips, try it on the back of your hand to check for allergies.
