Who doesn’t love bread? The heavenly taste of carbs that are fresh out of the oven is incomparable to anything else in this world. As most bakeries are not yet open and people are preferring to eat home cooked meals, we want to share with you a simple recipe for focaccia bread that you will fall in love with.

How to make cherry tomato and basil focaccia bread?

Ingredients:

Method:

In a bowl, add maida along with yeast, sugar and salt. Mix them nicely. Once done with that, add yoghurt. Finally, add water to this mixture and knead a dough. Do not knead too much. Once the mixture takes shape of the dough, cover it with a little bit of oil. Cover the dough with a wet cloth and keep it aside for 30 minutes.

After that, knead the dough again to remove the air from it. Once done, cover the dough again with a little bit of oil and keep aside for another 20 minutes.

For the next step, preheat the oven for 10 minutes at 180 degrees. Grease your baking tray and keep the dough in it for 10 minutes so that it takes the shape of the tray.

Now, this is when you become artistic. Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and put them on the bread however you like it and do the same with the basil leaves. You can also add a lot of spices. Basically, add everything you want your focaccia to have. Cover with a little butter on top.

Bake for 30 minutes at 180 degrees Celcius and enjoy this delicious bread.

If we ask you what is the one thing that you really miss eating, what would it be? For us, it is the yummy garlic bread that Dominos gives. That freshly baked bread that has oodles of garlic and is full of buttery goodness, we are missing that.

We made you salivate, didn’t we? But, you know what? It is not that difficult to make that bread at home. Yup, that is correct. And, the best part, you can experiment with the fillings as much as you want at home. So, we thought of sharing the recipe with you.

Dominos garlic bread at home

Ingredients:

Warm milkHalf cup

Garlic6 cloves
Oregano2 tablespoons
Peri PeriAccording to taste
Chilli Flakes1 tsp
Butter3 tablespoon

Method:

In a bowl, add yeast, warm milk and sugar. Mix it nicely and let it rest for 10 minutes. The yeast will activate in these 10 minutes, which is essential for the bread.

After that, add salt and mix well. To this mixture, add three finely chopped garlic cloves along with one teaspoon of oregano and one teaspoon of butter. For the next step, add the all-purpose flour and knead the dough.

Add a few drops of olive oil and cover the dough with it. Finally, keep the dough aside for two hours. While the dough is resting, the yeast will do its magic.

During this time, we will prepare the delicious mixture that will give the actual taste to the garlic bread.

Melt two tablespoons go butter. In the butter, add three finely chopped garlic cloves, one teaspoon of oregano along with one teaspoon of peri peri. Mix it well.

Now, we come back to the dough. Due to the activated yeast, the dough will double up in size within two hours. Once that happens, take that dough out and knead it again. Once the dough has the bouncy texture, with the help of a rolling pin, spread the dough in a circle. Do not make it too thin.

With the help of a brush, spread the liquid butter mixture all over the dough. Fold it in half as shown in the video and with the help of your fingers close the sides. Put the dough on a baking tray that has been layered with butter.

Cover the top of the dough with the remaining butter mixture and sprinkle some more oregano and chilli flakes. Use a knife to make cuts on the dough and put it in a preheated oven for 7 minutes. You will have the best freshly baked garlic bread.
