During quarantine, we all have had a lot of free time on our hands and most of us are utilising it by trying to cook new dishes and indulging in a lot of other activities. We are spending a lot of time taking care of our skin and are trying celeb-inspired face masks and lip scrubs.
Skincare routines are big right now and everybody is looking for ways to get that supple and smooth skin. De De Pyaar De actress Rakul Preet Singh also shared her skincare routine on her Youtube channel recently and we love it. Her skincare routine involves a lot of desi ingredients, especially the ones that you find in your kitchen.
Here, we tell you how you can make Rakul’s four-ingredient face mask and get glowing skin.
How to make Rakul Preet Singh’s face Mask
For her face pack, the actress used one teaspoon of gram flour (besan) and mixed it with a pinch of turmeric (haldi) along with one tablespoon of curd. She then squeezed half a lemon into it and mixed the ingredients thoroughly to form a paste.
This is Rakul’s favourite face mask and according to her, it also helps get rid of the tanning. In her video, she shared that this face mask is best for oily skin and people who have dry skin can add a little bit of honey in the mask and apply.
The gram flour in the mask is a great scrub for the skin. The lemon helps with de-tanning, and turmeric is great for its antiseptic properties.
Rakul is not the only celebrity taking care of her skin during the lockdown. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Malaika Arora have been making masks at home too.
