If you are also dying to travel abroad for your next vacation, there is some good news for you. There are a few places that you might be able to visit soon.
We have all been dreaming about our next vacation while going through old holiday pictures on our phones. Right? But there is some hope now for all those who want to travel abroad. The Ministry Of Civil Aviation of India recently announced that they are planning to open bilateral travel-bubbles with various countries.
These countries are – the United State Of America, the United Kingdom, France and Germany.
But, first things first. Let us talk about what exactly a travel bubble is.
During the novel coronavirus pandemic, a lot of countries have been testing the bilateral bubble method of travelling. According to this, the flights will directly go from location A to location B. There will be no layovers of any kind. This is being done to control the movement of the passengers going from and coming to a country.
Travellers flying abroad in these air-bridges will not have to follow the quarantine protocols on reaching the destination or while coming back to home. This absolutely depends upon the two countries, their dependence on each other and COVID-19 control in both the areas.
Because the demand for international flying in a lot of countries including the US, UK, France and Germany is still high, hence the government is planning to open travel bubbles in these areas.
As we contemplate further opening up in response to demands, we are looking at the prospect of establishing individual bilateral bubbles, India-US, India-France, India-Germany, India-UK.— MoCA_GoI (@MoCA_GoI) June 23, 2020
This does not mean that we have a date or a specific period when you will be able to travel abroad, but at least we now know where we might be able to go for our next holiday.
