Getting dressed to go chill with a bunch of friends at a cafe or restaurant, which has been tagged ‘favourite’, describes our perfect weekend, or it used to. Over the past few months things have drastically changed for all of us. And, forget going out, ordering food at home has also become a distant dream. Now, only if we get time, we just dress up to sit on our living room couch.
But, just because you are practising social distancing by staying at home, it doesn’t mean you should be kept away from good food. Instead, you should get more amazing food to hog on as a reward. Which is why, we are here with a super easy and ‘oh, so yummy’ recipe of our all-time favourite spaghetti.
Here’s all you’ll need for homemade spaghetti
|Spaghetti pasta||200 gms|
|Olive oil||1-2 tsp|
|Schezwan sauce||As per taste|
|Tomato ketchup||1-2 tsp|
|Cheese spread||As per requirement|
|Fresh cream||As per requirement|
|Salt||As per taste|
|Oregano||As per taste|
|Chilli flakes||As per taste|
Follow this method to make the dish
Start with boiling some water in a pan. Add a pinch of salt along with the pasta. While the pasta is getting cooked, take another pan to make the sauce.
Put olive oil in the pan and put the flame on medium. Add chopped garlic and once they turn golden, add chopped onion. After 2-3 minutes, add chopped tomato. Let it cook for 5-7 minutes.
Once the tomatoes start to turn soft, add schezwan sauce, tomato ketchup along with some pasta water. Bring the gravy to a boil.
Next, add cheese spread or any cheese of your choice along with some fresh cream. Finish the sauce by adding salt, oregano and chilli flakes.
Once the pasta gets cooked, drain the water and put the spaghetti in the sauces, and toss it well. Enjoy with your loved ones as this much quantity will serve two to three people.
