Ok, so we were craving for something sweet but could not decide on what to eat. We finally opened the fridge and realised that we have all the ingredients for chocolate chip cookies. Yes, you know where we are going with this.

We made some really delicious and gooey chocolate chip cookies.

The taste of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies that melt in your mouth is something that words cannot do justice to. You have to have it to know what magical ride your tastebuds go through on devouring a decadent chocolate chip cookie.

So, without wasting any more time, let’s dive into the recipe.

Chocolate chip cookies – Recipe

Ingredients:

Vanilla essence2 tsp
All-purpose flour 1 1/2 cup
Baking soda1/2 tsp

Method:

In a bowl, mix the brown sugar with the white sugar, salt and melted butter. Give them a nice mix and then, add the egg. You will have to move the whisker thoroughly to mix everything evenly. Once done, add vanilla essence and mix again.

Using a sifter, add the all-purpose flour and baking soda in the bowl. Using a sifter helps mix the dry ingredients and also removes any unwanted clumps. Use a spatula to mix everything together. Do not mix too much because that will make the cookies hard.

Finally, when you have the right consistency of the dough, add chocolate chips. You can go crazy and add as many as you want. If you do not have chocolate chips, just add small chunks of any chocolate.

Now, leave the batter to chill. A minimum of half an hour of chilling is necessary. The more you leave the dough in the fridge, the better the cookies will be. For the most heavenly taste, leave them overnight.

While your dough is being chilled, preheat your over at 180 degrees Celsius. Put parchment paper on the baking tray and scoop some of that dough and put small balls of the dough on the tray.

Let the cookies bake for 10-15 minutes. After that, take them out of the oven and let them cool.
