A father can do anything for his kids. While his son is his best friend, his daughter is always his little angle. Even though this amazing person should be celebrated every day, the third Sunday of June is marked as Father’s Day. This year, it will be celebrated on June 21.
With the novel coronavirus pandemic spoiling all your plans of going out on a trip with your dad, there is one way for you to surprise him. You can make your father super happy by cooking a tasty meal for him.
Here, we have listed three easy recipes that will prove helpful.
Spaghetti
Know the ingredients you will need to make the spaghetti:
Spaghetti pasta | 200 gms |
Garlic | 3-4 cloves |
Tomato | 1 pcs |
Onion | 1/2 pcs |
Olive oil | 1-2 tsp |
Schezwan sauce | As per taste |
Tomato ketchup | 1-2 tsp |
Cheese spread | As per requirement |
Fresh cream | As per requirement |
Salt | As per taste |
Oregano | As per taste |
Chilli flakes | As per taste |
Cook the pasta by boiling it in a pan. Meanwhile, take another pan to make the sauce. In the pan, add olive oil followed by chopped garlic and chopped onion, and let it cook for 2-3 minutes. To this, add chopped tomato.
Next, add schezwan sauce, tomato ketchup along with some pasta water. Bring the gravy to a boil. Then add cheese spread or any cheese of your choice along with some fresh cream. Finish the sauce by adding salt, oregano and chilli flakes. Drain the pasta and mix it with the sauce.
Salad
Check out the ingredients you will require to make the salad below:
Cucumber (cut into thin slices) | 1 pcs |
Diced green capsicum | 1 pcs |
Diced red capsicum | 1 pcs |
Onion (cut into thin slices) | 1 pcs |
Salt | 2 tsp |
Black pepper | 2 tsp |
Oregano | 1 tbsp |
Fat-free mayonnaise | 3 tbsp |
Sweet onion sauce | 1 tbsp |
Sweet chilli sauce | 1.5 tbsp |
Mustard sauce | 2 tbsp |
To make this super easy salad, add all the veggies in a bowl and top them with fat-free mayonnaise, sweet onion, sweet chilli and mustard sauce. Mix all the ingredients together and season them with salt, black pepper and oregano.
You can add as many veggies as you like in this salad.
Chicken Wings

Chicken wings | 500 gms |
All-purpose flour (maida) | 1 tbsp |
Cornflour | 1/2 tbsp |
Salt | As per taste |
Black pepper | As per taste |
Red chilli powder | As per taste |
Olive oil | 1 tbsp |
Ginger garlic paste | 1 tbsp |
Brown sugar | 1 tbsp |
White vinegar | 1 tbsp |
Schezwan sauce | As per taste |
Tomato ketchup | 1 tsp |
Marinate the chicken wings with salt, black pepper and red chilli powder, and let them rest. Then mix all-purpose flour, cornflour and salt in a plate. Dust the chicken wings with the mix. After this, line them on a baking tray and bake them for 20 minutes at 180 degrees in a pre-heated oven.
For the sauce, cook the ginger garlic paste on low flame. To this, add brown sugar and white vinegar, and mix well. Following this, add schezwan sauce along with tomato ketchup and finish it off with salt. Once the wings are cooked, toss them in the sauce.
