Want to eat cake but don’t want to break your diet? Don’t worry, this eggless protein cake recipe is the solution to all your problems.
Everybody, at some point or the other, craves for something sweet, especially cakes. It can be while you are scrolling through your Instagram feed that you come across a gorgeous chocolate cake or while watching a baking show on an OTT platform, your brain can, suddenly, give a signal that it needs a CAKE!
There is no getting out of it, you have to give in and eat a piece or two of cake for everything to get back to normal. But it gets a little difficult for the fitness freaks, who love their abs and do not want to spoil their diet.
Fret not, we have a solution for them. This easy to make eggless protein cake is the dessert of their dreams. Let us tell you how to make it.
Eggless protein cake recipe – ingredients:
|Dark Chocolate||6-7 pcs|
|Whey protein (chocolate flavour)||3 scoops|
|Powdered oats||1 cup|
|Baking powder||1 tsp|
|Cinnamon powder||1/4 tsp|
|Vanilla essence (optional)||3-4 drops|
|Sugar (optional)||3-4 tsp|
|Condensed milk (optional)||3-4 tsp|
Method to make the cake:
In a bowl, melt butter along with dark chocolate and mix them well. If you want the cake to be a little on the sweeter side, you can add condensed milk or sugar to it (we haven’t put any of it in our recipe).
To this mixture, add the chocolate-flavoured Whey protein along with properly sieved powdered oats and baking powder. To make it more flavourful, add cinnamon powder and a little bit of vanilla essence (we have not put vanilla essence in our recipe). Just writing this makes us salivate.
While mixing the dry ingredients with the butter and chocolate add milk to give the batter a proper structure. Mix well till you get the right consistency.
In a non-stick or silicon baking try, pour the batter and put it in a pre-heated oven at 180 degrees for 25 minutes.
