Making ice cream at home is extremely simple. This recipe that just requires a food processor, some fresh cream, condensed milk and topping of your choice will tell you how.
Ice cream seems like the most difficult dessert to make. It is also one of the most versatile dessert that there is. There are millions-and-millions of flavours and each one tastes better than the other.
But what if we tell you that even you can make ice cream at home? And wait, there is more. What if we tell you that it is not just the classic vanilla ice cream but you can experiment with flavour as much as you want?
So, for you and your sweet tooth, we are bringing the most delicious and simple ice cream recipe that there is. This is a dairy-based ice cream, but soon we will also be sharing how to make one without using any dairy product.
How to make the ice cream at home
|Fresh cream||200 ml|
|Sweetened condensed milk||200 gm|
|Vanilla essence||1 tsp|
|Cocoa powder||2 tbsp|
|Crushed chocolate||As per requirement|
For the fist step, keep your blender and the fresh cream in the freezer for 10 minutes. Once, they are bot chilled, add the cream in the blender and let it churn for 10 minutes.
Once the fresh cream turns into whipped cream, add condensed milk into the blender. Mix the two gently using a spatula and then let the blender do its magic.
Add vanilla extract to it and blend for another two minutes. The base for ice cream is ready! If you freeze this for 7-8 hours, you get vanilla-flavoured creamy deliciousness.
However, we wanted to eat nutties chocolate ice cream, so we added chocolate powder in the blender. Once everything is properly mixed, put the ice cream in a steel container while freezing. It works best.
Before putting it in the freezer, we added some crushed nutties in the mix for some extra crunch.
