What is the one food item that you are missing the most during quarantine? The coronavirus pandemic has changed eating outside forever. Going out to our favourite restaurant or ordering food from outside has become extremely risky and most people are avoiding it.
This has resulted in many going into their kitchens and trying to cook their favourite meals. We have also been doing this. We were craving for chicken lollipops, so we, finally, ventured into our kitchen and tried making it. The end result was a hit, so, we decided to share the recipe with you.
How to make chicken lollipops
|Chicken leg piece||1/2 kg|
|Salt||According to taste|
|Red chilli powder||According to taste|
|Soy sauce||1 tbsp|
|Ginger garlic paste||1 tbsp|
Marinate the chicken with egg, salt, red chilli powder, ginger-garlic paste, soy sauce, vinegar and mix nicely. Keep it aside for 30 minutes.
Once the marination is done, add cornflour to the chicken and mix it well. Make sure the cornflour coats all the chicken pieces. This step gives the chicken lollipop a nice crunch.
Heat oil in a deep pan. Once heated, put the leg pieces one-by-one and deep fry. Cook each piece for 5 minutes till it turns golden brown and the chicken is properly cooked. Enjoy your yummy chicken lollipops.
