While we are in the unlock phase and many states in India have started welcoming domestic tourists again, it is time that you start making a list of holiday spots once again. We know we are. To be honest, if we had to pick between beaches and mountains, we will never be able to make a choice. We love them both, equally.
Both beaches and mountains have a certain calm to them that lets you rejuvenate and recharge. But today, we are specifically going to talk about beaches. And since, Goa is welcoming tourists again, we are going to give you a list of five places in India that have the most happening beaches. These should be in your must-visit list.
Well, this one is a no-brainer. From Calangute to Baga to Anjuna, Goa has been the party spot of India for a very long time now. Renting out scooties or jeeps and just roaming from beach to beach between North Goa and South Goa, this is a must-visit place if you have not already been here.
Just a 3-hour drive from Goa, you enter Gokarna in Karnataka. Famous for its beaches, Gokarna is calmer and less populated. So, here you go for rejuvenation and to enjoy the surreal beauty of the nature and be laid back. Do not forget to go to Om beach.
Odisha is also home to some of the most beautiful beaches. Though famous for its temples, there are some beaches that take you away from the hustle-bustle of the world. The sound of water with white sand and a gorgeous sun setting in the background. You can easily find the calmness here. Ramachandi beach is a must-visit when you go to Odisha.
We cannot have a list of beaches and not mention Kerala in it. Kerala is a paradise for anyone who loves to travel. From beaches and backwater to delicious food and amazing coffee, you name it and they have it. Marari and Kovalam are the ones that you must go to.
Auroville beach! This is one place that you need to head to, if you want to relax. The place is famous for the French hints in its architecture. Pondicherry or Puducherry is the complete holiday destination. The beaches here are clean and some even have water sports if you feel like sitting on a jet ski.
